It is with great gratitude and joy that I announce the new, Argent League! A subgroup for non-Autistic People to both support us, and receive the support of our prayers. It is my hope that this group will help our group expand and develop greatly, as well as help us better integrate into the Church and Christian society.
Please spread the word about this, and about Claritas in general of course, and if you’re non-Autistic and happen to be reading this, consider joining!
Countdown to the Summer Campaign

A lot is happening as June, the Month of the Sacred Heart approaches, I have a lot planned, including a huge prayer campaign that’s simply called Summer Campaign 2023; more an that and other things but for now, I’ll just stick with a few updates regarding this group and site.
Firstly, there’s going to be something called, The Argent League, it is a subgroup for non-Autistic Members to join and support us through their prayers and the like; it should be up and running sometime in June. Secondly, I’d just like to remind anyone whose reading this that we have Discord server for more involvement, simply contact me at Claritas Prayer Group #9435. Third this may not seem like much but we’ll soon be having a donate button on the site to accept support, not only could we use them, but I’ve been told that it would actually make our site and group look more legit. Fourth our Zazzle Store has been updated and has new products for everyone to check out. Five, as you can see on the right, we knew have a newer flyer to help spread the word about our group, please consider printing one out and attaching it to your parish’s bulletin. Sixth, this site will be moving soon, though probably not until after the summer. Because of my plans for expanding this group, I’m going to moving this site to a different web hosting service to make it easier for us to do the things we want with our site and group.
That’s all for now, but please stay tuned for these, and other changes, including of course the Summer Campaign, and several other special prayer campaigns that’ll be happening in June and/or throughout the summer; I want everyone to be spiritually prepared for them.

Claritans’ Chat

I now have a Discord account and Discord server, my number is Claritas Prayer Group#9435, if you’re a member simply find me on Discord and I’ll invite you to Claritan’s Chat where you can talk to other members. And for those of you who aren’t Catholic, aren't Autistic, or aren’t either for this but like my work or the like; I plan on making another server called Friend of Claritas where you can speak with us and each other.

You can become an Email Penpal with Fellow-Claritans

You can now connect with fellow Autistic Catholics by becoming email penpals. When you contact me via the site's contact page, you can now state (*clearly*) that you wish to share your email address and will, in return, receive email addresses from Claritans who have also clearly consented to share their email addresses. Everyone is responsible for his or her on content so please, respect boundaries.
I do not have the resources to start a forum site or other social media site, but I hope this helps us get together more and be able to help each other out.
Spreading the word with Claritas flyers

How is summer going for everyone? For awhile now, I’ve been printing out these flyers and mailing them to various churches to spread the word about this prayer group.
I’ve posted these flyers on here before, but I figured I’d make another post about this to encourage everyone to download this image below, print them out, and mail them neighbouring churches to help spread the word about us.
A Shrine for the Overturning of Roe V. Wade

I mentioned in my recent Newsletter that there are plans to have a great Shrine built to Our Lady in thanksgiving for the overturning of Roe V. Wade. Today Matt Fradd live-streamed a video discussing the idea with Fr. Jason Charron.
There isn’t much yet, just speculation, but I fully support this and thus, am posting this news update here; as well, as sending a Newsletter out to all my subscribers letting them. Comic is now a novel.
May 25th 2022It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update on here, a lot has happened since then, I really need to invest more into this. In my previous update I’ve mentioned that I’m working on a comic (Called “An Appeal to Heaven”) to promote this prayer group, well this comic is now a novel, and I’ve been working hard in writing it ever since. I’m hoping to have it done and published on either the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary or the Feast of the Immaculate Conception; but there’ll need to be a lot of working and praying in order to make that a reality.
Another thing to mention regarding this site and group, is that, as I’ve mentioned on Twitter and elsewhere, I plan on moving to Chile and because of that, I’m trying to learn Spanish; when I do, I’ll be sure to make a Spanish version of my website and promote in Chile and elsewhere in the Spanish-speaking world. It’ll be awhile though as I still am far from mastering the language, hopefully I’ll be getting there in the Fall, when I plan on moving. Of course I’ll be sure to look into translating into other languages as well in the future.
One more update regarding this site and group, I’m thinking of adding a new feature to this site, a Special Intentions section where we pray for certain intentions regarding recent events and controversies going in the world at the moment, like for example, what is happening in the US in regard to Roe V. Wade. I’ll look into adding a little later this week if I go ahead with it; if I do though, I’ll also have to add a newsletter so that the members are alerted to these intention when they’re set up.
Well that’s all for now, sorry that I’ve been so inactive lately, I’ll try to do more to expand this group and improve things for us Autistic Catholics.

Updates
October 26th 2021
I have a lot of overdue updates to announce here; first and foremost, please spread the word about this group to fellow-Autistic Catholics, you can clearly see to your left a flyer I made for people to print-out and pin to their parish bulletin boards. Also if you know someone is Autistic and outside the Church, feel free to email me and I’ll keep them in my prayers, perhaps when this group expands, more members will be available to receive prayer requests and pray for their fellow-Autistic folk in need.
In regards to other resources, I now have a Zazzle account and am selling merchandise on Zazzle, including cards and bumper stickers to help spread the word; here is the link to our Zazzle “store:” Zazzle store Claritas

On a more serious and perhaps, controversial note, I have heard a lot of troubling things about ABA, the most common treatment for Autistic children. I have taken a look at it and so-far, it seem quite bad to be honest. I have started a blog series on Autism forums and have long-since published the first part here, I’ve been working on the second part for some time and hope to have it up soon.
Finally, I’d like to announce, that I’m working on a kind of comic series entitled “An Appeal to Heaven,” it started as three, simple comics in honour of a meme called “Autistic Girl Autumn,” which I was planning to do as a way of promoting Autism awareness. I commissioned the Venezuelan artist Andrés to make them and the first one came out on time at a payable price. But as I came up with ideas for the October and November comics, they became much longer, the price became too expensive and by the time I finished the October one and contacted Andrés, it turned out he wouldn’t be able to have it finished until November. So I’ve decided to combine the two comics into a much larger series made up of mostly, six-panel episodes. The first episode, as I have mentioned, will be out in November, I’ll try to remember to announce it on here once it’s out.

Twitter may be a toxic place, but it’s worth it to help souls in need become Saints; besides, I don’t intend on hanging around on that site too long.

June 25th, 2021Here it is, the logo of our prayer group, the blue lines in the Autistic Infinity symbol are based off of the flag of the Commonwealth of Iceland, the flag that flew over Iceland during the time of Saint Thorlak; I asked for four lines as the number four is associated with Creation and the earth. A thank you to Multifavs for making this symbol, it came out beautifully!
Introduction
June 23rd, 2021I had ideas about Claritas for a longtime, the ultimate dream idea I had for it was of an entire Catholic Apostolate; run like a medieval guild, or the Knights of Columbus. Aspie and Autistic Catholics would meet up with each other, socialize, help each other out, and then go out and help the Church and society as a whole. This prayer group came into my mind around Pentecost this year, my mind was focusing on all the difficulties we struggle with in the Church and in the world. I wanted to find some way to help my brother and sister Catholics who are Aspies or Autistic, and as I thought, this brilliant, simple and powerful idea emerged. Indeed I believe that this prayer group is much more needed, and much more powerful, than any forum site or what have you. A simple union in spirit and prayer will help us and the world much more, than any mere online discussion forum, however influential it may be. All that being said, I do plan on setting up an online forum site sometime in the future, as I continue to build my ideas for Claritas; if it is the Lord’s will of course. But for now, let us focus on prayer and the salvation of our own souls, as well as the souls of all our family, friends, neighbours and associates.
Let us all, as St. Padre Pio put it best, “hope, pray, and don’t worry!” And also, I myself would like to add, HAPPY HUMP DAY!
